TTABA provides a mechanism for stakeholders along the value-chain to establish industry associations for the development of selected commodities and into sustainable industries and for the development of specific areas of agri-business.

Support is provided mainly to commodity association, farmers associations, fresh produce exporters associations and small agro-processors associations.
Members of these associations meet and identify the constraints and opportunities with respect to the development of their individual associations  TTABA then facilitate the process for them to prepare “development plans” consisting of projects which falls within the following categories;

• Research and Development and
• Market development and product promotion
