|  Based on opportunities for the agro-processing market or for the fresh produce export market TTABA undertakes the establishment of contract farming arrangements with:
- Small farmers through their associations
- Large Farming enterprises (over 100 acres)
- Joint venture firms.
Under these arrangements TTABA provides the farmers with guaranteed price, provide production technology package based on Good Agricultural practices (GAP), grade standards, delivery schedule, field monitoring and advice and information on market situation.
The farmers on the other hand are required to attend TTABA’s lecture on “Fundamentals of Produce Marketing” register with the Ministry of Agriculture “Farmer Register Programme, enter the NAMDEVCO’s National (GAP) Farm Certification Programme, provide production information on the last week of every month to their Associations, adhere to the GAP production protocol, deliver quantity and quality of produce on time. |
