The agro-processing service is the nerve centre of our “core business” and involves TTABA providing services that facilitate the rapid commercial production and marketing of value-added agri-products.

Specifically the service allows TTABA to:

• Convert the contracted fresh produce into semi-processed raw material which can then be sold to down stream buyers, including food processors, restaurants and institutions such as the School Nutrition Company and hospitals. This reduces imports of semi-processed raw material and strengthens our food manufacturing sector.
• Offer Contract food processing service to local and overseas food distributors for a range of higher value-added consumer packaged products. This allows for easier access to international markets and rapid growth of the agricultural and food sector.
• Offer contract food processing service to new and existing local SME firms which are unable to establish or access facilities and equipment that meet market requirements, but which have products with existing demand or with good market potential. Allows for easier entry into the food processing sector by low resource small and medium size enterprises and entrepreneurs.
• Produce and market TTABA’s own “Flavour Islands” brand of value-added products and supplies for its restaurant franchise. This reduces TTABA’s risk associated with contract farming and strengthens its competitiveness and sustainability.

This service involves the establishment of “an agro- processing centre” consisting of several factories with the following processing lines;

1. Fresh cut chilled and preserved vegetables and fruits
2. Frozen root crops, vegetables and fruits
3. Dried  root crops, vegetables and fruits
4. Juice and beverage line
5. Sauces line
6. Canning line
